I am a Licensed Clinical Metal Health Counselor in the State of Vermont.
I hold a Masters in Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Vermont (2014).
I completed a 2-year certificate Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapies from the Vermont Institute of Psychotherapies (2024).
I have 11 years of clinical experience providing individual psychotherapy for adolescents, college students, and adults struggling with a wide range of concerns.
Other degrees earned include an MFA from Goddard College (1998) and a BA from Hampshire College (1990).
In addition to my education and training, my background and life experience provides valuable perspective and continues to influence my development as a therapist.
As a writer, I have a keen interest in language, metaphor, and story. I draw inspiration from the natural world, art, music, and poetry. I understand the challenges of raising children and facing significant life transitions. I have personal experience navigating privilege, discrimination, and complex identity issues and I would be honored to explore these issues with you.
